Common questions

Is Parkour After Dark free?

Yes. The browser game is free to play, with no download required.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?

The browser game includes on-screen touch controls as well as keyboard controls. Gameplay needs a modern browser with JavaScript enabled. This guide can be read without JavaScript.

Is it multiplayer?

Adventures are single-player. The shared scoreboard lets players compare scores; it is not a live multiplayer mode.

How does the scoreboard work?

Overall rankings add each player's best score from each completed adventure, including the final arena. Replaying improves your total only when you beat your previous best in that adventure. You can also view rankings for an individual adventure.

Does the game save progress?

Journey progress, character name and local scores are saved in this browser. Clearing site data removes local saves. Progress does not automatically sync between devices; shared scores are separate from journey saves.

Can I change the controls, sound or motion?

Settings lets you change trick keys. Movement and main action keys stay fixed. The game also includes sound and reduced-motion controls.
